Forrester Research Inc.: The Broad Reach of Social Technologies
by Sean Corcoran with Nate Elliott, Josh Bernoff, Cynthia N. Pflaum, and Emily Bowen
As Forrester Research says in a new report, to "harness the groundswell of social behavior," companies should "work with interactive agencies like Blast Radius."
Forrester Research declares that, "social technologies are on their way to near-universal adoption" and "the time to build social marketing applications is now."
Here is a snippet from the report:
"After analyzing how your customers engage, we recommend crafting your brand’s social entrance quickly; hesitating will force you to chase competitors who’ve already launched their social strategies. To speed up this process, work with interactive agencies like Blast Radius that have proven track records in social media marketing. Divide up the tasks with your agency: You should concentrate on understanding the social behavior of your customers, and let your agency figure out the details of your social applications."
There’s no question: social marketing is the new imperative—not just for video game developers and music labels but for every company that wants to survive. As Forrester puts it so succinctly, "It’s time to get smart about these tools; you need them."
